Hopefully your intake mani and AEM EMS doesn't equate to a 57whp difference between your car and mine,

557whp on an awd dyno is a really big number off the bottle for a 2.0L hybrid setup. Sure it can be done. However Rdrkt's setup is vastly different then yours. Im sure his numbers are attributed to a lot more then his Haltec and an intake manifold. Good luck I need to get my lazy ass back to a dyno. OMG

Dave, congrats on the numbers, very very nice. What do you think your putting down on pumpas? I know you had some pretty high traps with it too.

JDM, you need to stop half assing the work you do on your car and put down some real numbers. How are those injector seals.:|:D :thumb:

Well at 25lbs I did 511. I run 22-23lbs on pump gas. So you can try to figure it out from there.I would think WELL over 450.

OMG SBR GT13 107.18@135 ;) 10 mile track

Nice to see the 20g was secound on that list. I know I picked it for some reason. Besides having the devils wheel drive, I am hoping for some good WHP/Track times.

Would you like a new host for the Vid? Let me know on here or on AIM and we'll get it up where it shouldn't get raped to the point of death.

Congrats rdrkt. So after you reach the mysterious 600whp mark what will be your niext goal.

600hp is something many people wish for. For a street car it is thought to be nearly impossible. I think you can do it  Good luck man, show 'em what that 2.4 can do.

Not so much mysterious more respected, lusted after etc. My next goal is a mid 10 sec pass in the 135 range :dsm: It can be done its just a matter of getting some clean runs in.

I almost thought you were going to ask if there were any plans to eventually loose some weight from the driver. :D

When the cage goes in I am getting rid of the back seat entirely, swapping out the front seats with some JEGS shells, taking out the stock belts and replacing them with a 5pt etc. Then going with a CM cage. Then depending on how much is left in the budget I will get a CF hood. Hopefully that will result in a nice loss in weight.

As for nitrous. The thought of it is nice but at this point I would have to replace the supra pump with a dual bosch setup or an Aermotive pump then get the tank sumped and run SS line up to the front. The price tag on that setup would be around 1200 bucks or more by the time I was all said and done and then I have to add a 700 buck nitrous kit. So now I am at like 2k for nitrous! So maybe next season or the season after that.

I know what you mean about the Aeromotive fuel setup. I was looking into that myself seeing how the current Walbro I have is only good for around low 400whp so I was contemplating upgrading the fuel system once and for all. These things get real pricey once you need to make a ton of HP. :(

In the end, it probably would have just been better to buy Wes's car when he wanted to sell it. :D

Unfortunately most people follow the same pattern.

They say I don’t want a race car I want a street car. Then they build a decent street car. Then they want to go faster. Then they build a really compromised street car. At that point their car is neither a good street car nor a good race car. But you thirst for more HP is still there. Then you move even more towards a race car and in the process taking years and spending a ton of money. Had you just said from the start hey I want a race car that can drive on the street on weekends then you would have been better off and spent less. Oh well hindsight is 20/20.

But that's the route that DIY-ers have to take in order to get 600whp from a dsm.
