Haha only two are getting the paint on is a donor car...I just did motor swaps on all of em and interior transfers and cleaning and just alot of shit. When these are done and looking good I am going to be real happy till then just gotta keep working.

Im replacing the inputshaft seal on the tranny tomorrow...on the 420A auto tranny its sunk into the damn thing and is gonna be a Bi0tch to get it out.

anyway I have a ton more pictures of everything Ill get it all posted up after I get through with everything.

oh just two??..my bad..LOL...well hope you get it to work out then.

I am using the roller method and it's half way done. I'll finish once I get home from deployment.

wow! the bumper turned out amazing.

the spray gun you used was air less right? I have no compresser ,so it would be nice to be able to use a air less gun.

I have a Hard question to answer....
I want to paint mine a Pearl White with a Blue Metallic Flake. How and Where would I be able to score paint such as this to work like the paint on the Project cars above?
I'm thinking of going to a friends Paint shop who can order it and Mix it for me but would that Material of paint work or not?

Oh I'm rolling it no doubt there. I have about $100 in my name so I couldn't even afford an air can

Oh. well the type of paint that we've been using is called Rust-oluem which is different from normal car paint.
If i'm not mistaken rust-oluem is akrylic as oppoesd to normal car paint which is urethane. I can't tell you how urethane would roll on

Hey another question popped up in my head.
Well lets Re cap on the Materials I need since i'm doind a Pearl Color
1 Can of Acrylic/Enamel Primer
1 Can of Pearl Paint
Professional Rollers (Foam)
Foam Sticks for paint
Sand Paper

220-500 to get to metal/primer

Now my question is what grit did you use for Wetsanding?
Just off the top of my head, I would guess in a 200 grit step from 400 so:
400 to 600 to 800 to 1000 to 1400 (Super Fine)
Then 4 Layers of Clear Coat.
Is that too much layers? Thanks man!

Your going to end up with about 8 or 9 coat of just paint. on your last coat of paint your going to want to wet sand with 2000 grit.
Then clear coat is your preference (it'll be hard to fix scratches etc. in the future)

Here is my notes for painting my car so far.

Stuff needed to Paint Car:

4" The best white rollers
Sand paper
Block Sand Paper
Sealant
Primer
Pearl White paint
%100 Spirit
50/50 Mix
Power washer
BUFFER!

80 Grit
To
100
To
250
To
400
Fix damage and seal dings and dents
Two coats of Pearl White
Wet sand 400
Two coats of Pearl White
Wet sand 800
Check to see the even of the paint

Two coats of Pearl white with Blue Flake
Wet Sand 1200 +
Clear Coat
Turtle Wax Polishing Compound

Now on the Blue Flake with the Pearl White should it be the last 2 layers or Mix it in throughout the process?

How much more? LOL
But should I mix the Blue into the process or wait until like the last two layers?

i wouldn't mix the blue in until your get some solid layers of pearl down first. That ### it will "pop" better with a solid and consistent background.

And do the coats of pearl until you can't tell what the paint job before was.
You want full and even coverage.

I'm confused now. So after I do a layer of Blue Flake do ANOTHER layer of pearl white?

No, he means lay the pearl down until you can't tell what the old color is.

Then start mixing the blue in.
