I have acquired a 94 Eagle Summit AWD wagon w/4g64 for free with a blown transmission. I just want to confirm that the 4g63T auto trans will work with this application?

I need to know if this engine is considered a wideblock or narrowblock bellhousing, and if the tailhousing is somehow different on this application? I know these cars run on the same chassis as the Mirage and Colt but I just want to double check that I'm buying a compatible trans for this car.

Would the 4g63T be the strongest stock trans available?

You need a 2G DSM AWD tranny, because 93-96 Summits/LRVs used 2G style motor/tranny mounts.

I actually have a spare Summit AWD tranny and from everything that I have seen, it appears to be identical to the DSM AWD tranny. Well, it might have a different model number, but all the specks look the same.

BTW, Summits have a "narrow" block.

This is some info on my Summit project: AWD Wagon: Mini-minivan? - Chelmsford, Massachusetts
