Hey guys, I'm about to install the distributor assembly on my rebuilt 4g37 ('92 Eclipse) and I have a quick question. I see 2 dots on the gear and I'm not sure which one to use. Each dot is 180° from the other. The way it is pictured is how I assumed it should go with the engine at TDC. The red arrow shows the other dot on the face of the gear, which I assumed is for a different variation of the engine. Am I correct, or does it need to go 180° the other way? This is an OEM replacement Mitsubishi part by the way. Or does the old Chevy trick apply where the rotor needs to be facing cylinder 1 at TDC?
