Drove the car to work and right after I got off had no reading on the speedometer.
Double check the wiring and notice one was damage so i repair and that did not fix the issue. The Speed sensor has been replaced, the speedo driver and driven gear have been replace when tranny was rebuilt back in november.

Is the vss fused somewhere or did i fry something else causing it not to read?

I did that the other day, unplug it check the wiring and then hook back in. Also the plug was change from the round pin to the new flat pin style. It was working for the last month correctly. Also place in an working cluster to test the gauge and still now go. Trying to find another working speed sensor so I can test the wiring and making sure its not something else

I have the same problem in my 95 GS. My rpm hand works and my temp my gas and mph doesn't work. Can someone tell me why it dont and how i can fix it???

You can verify the sensor by removing it from the trans and spinning it in a drill.

While removing it if you knock the pinion gear off the sensor into the trans, screwed. you'll have to drop the trans to extract the gear.

If the speedo responds when the sensor is spun, then chances are the speedo ring gear has fallen off the diff. Stick your finger in the speed sensor hole and see of you can feel that plastic gear the speed sensor pinion spins on. If you can move it around to a large degree with your fingers or you can't find it at all, it's probably come free from the diff. You'll have to drop the trans to replace it.
