420a gasket kit

Buying a kit for my 420a. DO you think this kit is okay?

Mainly the head gasket and valve seals. I know they are not blue viton but they are still viton. Thanks.

I wouldn't recommend the eBay kits. Fel-pro's the way to go...

I would definitly go with fel-pro. I love mine and i would definitly not go with the ebay kits. Especially since these engines are known for oil leaaks. Plus if you want to turbo it or anything you are not going to want those.

i wouldnt trust it man. are you rebuilding the whole motor or just need a head gasket and some other things? a top and bottom complete fel-pro kit is right around $165 and well worth it. make sure you get the mls composite head gasket. fel-pro has never let me down.

I've been using the evergreen and eristic gaskets from ebay for years. They are pretty good gaskets, and the kits are usually more complete than any other out there.

Thanks. I was wondering more about the quality of the head gasket that is all that is bothering me.

Fel-Pro Head Gaskets do the job if the block and head surfaces are in proper condition yes.

ive wrenched on a lot of trucks an cars used several different gasket kits an by far fel-pro gaskets are pretty much best bang for your buck. all tho out of all of them fel-pro gaskets tend to slide around an easily bump out of place have to have patience working with them.

I have used gaskets from Mizumo for years, never had an issue with them.

Looks like in the kit you are looking at is a coated MLS head gasket.

As long as he thead and block surface is prepped properly you should be just fine.

If you question the HG, just buy a Fel-pro HG and use the rest of the gaskets from Mizumo.
