420A 420a EGR vacuum hose melted!!?

On my 1995 eagle talon 420a I found a vacuum hose coming from my egr leading to my intake an it seems to be melted can this cause any problems??

Well it could cause a vacuum leak. Which would lead to thing like high idle, idle surging, lean conditions, EGR malfunction... Back before I deleted my vacuum systems I replaced all the plastic hoses with rubber hoses. You can buy rubber vacuum hose at the autoparts store for dirt cheap.

Could I buy a vacuum fittings and just cut my vacuum line were it’s melted and just use the fitting to connect the two together? Because it seems it melted it fully closed so no passage way

Yes you can. I did the same for my jeep instead of replacing the entire hose. Use some lubricant if it’s a tight fit.
