aha im sorry guys..things have just been a lil busy with me startin school back up reeeeally soon ...workin 12 hours a day doesnt help either , but yea i like the idea of a full blown shootout instead of this mini crap....how is this all gonna work, are the sponsors going to pay for it ? would they pay for hotel accomodations?
i get today tommorrow and tuesday off and today im gonna be in cincinnati but ill call up there tommorow or tuesday for sure and see what i can arrange.
im pretty excited bout this, i hope it all falls into place

oh and bout cedar point, yea i havnt been this year cause of being so busy but damn i wanna ride the top thrill dragster so bad...everybody says its the best rollercoaster theyve ever been on, we'll see

wait that dragster one wasnt the fastest tallest right? it was that blue one... what was its name... i cant remember but you know which one im talking about. when i was there the drag race one was closed the whole day i wanted to go on that too.

yea u must have ridden the Millenium Force...that was the tallest and fastest for like a year back in 2002 i think?...then japan came out with a better one i think so we had to put in the Top Thrill Dragster... the thing looks wicked...they strap u in this car that looks like a drag car...then when the christmas tree hits green ur gone like a bat outta hell....plus u go straight up taller than the Millenium Force ... u go from 0-120 MPH in about 4 seconds check out this video of it http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/inside_park/rides/thrill/ttd/video/index.cfm

ya it was the millenium force... i kept thinking it was the millenium falcon but that wasnt right . that thing was sweet. i was mad about the dragster not being open tho.

well i had a little problem using the search at first, i didnt know you
about that 420a mini shoot out... i dont like the mini of it. i want a full blown 420a only meet. our modo (sic) could be "If you want in, sell your car and get an NT"

! I've burned the same local DSMer twice with that line. He was only running on 3 cylinders (one of his valves came up missing) and after he went on and on about his troubles, I just smiled and said, "Sell it and buy a non-turbo." He was the only GSX owner in a crowd of some 10 2GNTers. It was great.

A full on 420a only event is going to be hard to pull off man. The list of 2GNTers going went from almost 100 to around 30 since March. You're going to have to work to get much more than that. Keep in mind the majority of us are NA and still run above 15 seconds. And how many NA ATX people are going to want to drive all that way to run 17s? Few imo. Personally, I think the best bet is to get started now planning for next year's NDSMSO and get as many 420A people to show. It would definitely get noticed. The only reason there is no 420a class is because everyone talks the talk, but then bails on them. If I ran things, I probably wouldn't bother either.

Even though it's almost impossible to find a class to run in at the SO, I think next year I'll show up with my little 420A at tech and hand the inspector a dyno sheet showing 500whp and a sub 12 second ET. We'll see what happens. I'd think that would be grounds for bending a few "rules." Until then, you guys have fun over here in toonerland.

I'd go too.. I live in South Bend. There was a 3Si national gathering down in Indianapolis. There was a huge turn out. The track they had down there was pretty good, and they all had a pretty good time down in indy. Maybe we should meet in indy somewhere. There are about 5-6 nt's out here that would go. Over at 2gnt, they were gunna have a meet in chicago with aboiut 20 420a turbo guys.. so if we have it in the midwest, i bet we'd have a good turn-out. When would we plan on having this?
