so i live in michigan, and searched dsm graveyard last night and up popped the link for dsm graveyard in kalamazoo. i was lookin thru their parts and i see alot of shit that is pretty nice, and not expensive at all.

i was just wondering ifanyone has bought their cams, or stage 1 head? im thinking about getting them both this winter when i get my car put up. im thinking about getting higher compession pistons and rods too. whats the feedback?

what are your goals?

to me their parts are "slightly better" then stock.. so IF your goals were to boost.. id say, get forged components instead of the slightly better ones..

as for the 420a head.. flows very well stock.. im not sure wha a stage 1 conssits of.. but its probably not worth the money ( speaking in $$ vs gain) head mods dont do much unless you have other supporting mods or your boosted..

IMO.. start witht he bottom end, if you want turbo, get JE or wiesco, and eagle rods, arp head studs and upgrade the timing componets to mechanical. Melling m 190 pump and OEM water pump, and clevite or ACL main/rod bearings and youll be good to go.. You can do the head later down the road, and actually gain/feel a gain at that point.. i know i hate spending money on parts and then wonder what the hell did i even get for it you know?

keep in mind these things: you get what you pay for and
you HAVE to PAY to PLAY.

also.. machine costs add up quick.. so donfrget to account for those before you get all stary eyed about how "cheap" you can get parts for..

yea i hear what yor saying, and im not going for a turbo, i like the n/a style. like i said tho im probably going towork on that bottom end a little with new rods and pistons, and maybe a crank. and the link is

DSM Graveyard - Your #1 Source for DSM Parts!
