No, bolting a Mitsubishi 4g63 head to a Chrysler 420a block is not a possibility. It sounds like your problem might be valve seals but hard to say without more diagnosing.

You should start with repairing the engine to a healthy state before modifying anything.

Power is in the head but you aren't going to swap heads with something else. Nothing aftermarket is available and other Chrysler heads are reverse flow. You can upgrade to +1mm valves while it's getting rebuild and do some port work.

There's one aftermarket sheet metal intake manifold available but I can't justify the cost vs reward. Look into installing the Jeep 60mm throttle body and porting the plenum to approximately 58mm.

I'm too picky to use a cookie cutter intake that isn't cost effective. Get some 3" aluminum pipe & couplers to assemble your own intake setup. Place the filter as far away from the header/exhaust manifold as practically possible. If you're using the 60mm TB you can directly attach the pipe with a coupler, if still using the stock TB you'll need a reducer. But having oversized intake pipe is senseless if the flow is restricted by the TB.

If you want advice on building a head, or entire engine I can provide some good info. Sounds like you've got some labor and research to put in first though. You need to decide if you want a movie prop or something that actually performs. Those are 2 very different things. Changing your power steering hose to the color blue will do nothing for you.
