If you have sufficient funds then a fp 71hta will be good for you. Little bit pricey but you pay for quality. Or you can buy a 20g like he mentioned above. Much cheaper ofcourse.

Thanks guys I think that's what I'll go with and grab a set of dgy (dsm graveyard) 272s and dsm link 3.0

Looking to make the same out of my 90 gsx. Will probably go with a 20g with a similar setup too. Should be a nice little street machine.

I seriously doubt your going to make 400whp on a 20g on straight pump gas. Not to come in here and be a thorn in your side, but unless you have a great setup with a very good tune, 400whp on pump with a bolt on 20g more then likely isn't gonna happen. It's not as easy as just simply bolting a couple parts on the car, making a few changes in DSMLink and BAM 400hp. I just don't want to you see a thread 2 months from now saying I went to the dyno and only made 320whp what's going on? You know?

+1
you need a bigger turbo to meet your 400 hp goal. It can be done but whats the point? Youll have so much rapped up in toys when u could have got a bigger turbo in the first place.

That is my goal as well. I am currently running an Evo3 and have seen at best about 310hp. I think once I switch to link and upgrade my fuel I can get to 325 or so on pump. I'd explore the 20G route too, but only if it is a true TD06H model, as I don't think there is a superior Td05H turbo then the E3.
I've considered the Green and a small Holset too, but I kind of like the old school all "factory" draw of a MHI 20G.

I'm looking at a similar number as you. Currently looking to pick up either an FP Green or a TD06 20g. Just remember that you will need supporting mods to run those turbos.
