i was driving through my apartment complex and my talon randomly started to miss. i parked it and pulled the spark plug wires to see which cylinder it was. when i pulled number four the idle didnt change. its got spark to the plug and it has fuel. pulled the plug and it was covered in fuel and a little bit of oil. i swaped number three and number four spark plug and it was still number four that had a miss. i also swapped injectors.

compression test. cylinder 1-178psi 2-165psi 3-165psi 4-175psi.
when it ran right, if it idled for a bit and then i snaped the throttle it burned oil, a little puff of blue smoke came out the tailpipe. i believe thats valve seals right?

on decel it sounds normal. but on throttle it misses. its a complete miss, it doesnt sputter or anythin its just a dead cylinder, it has a miss at idle, but it idle stays normal.

i am also doing a cylinder leak down tomorrow.

i hope i was detailed enough. imput would be great.

I had a similar problem. My cylinder 2 was misfiring under acceleration, and missing at idle, smooth at decel. My injector plug was disconnected on cyl 2. Popped it back on, idle smoothed out and no misfire.. Check it out.. Cant hurt.
