3rd and 4th sometimes

Saturady night my 3rd gear went out. I could go from neutral to 3rd with the clutch out and it would do nothing. I drained the fluid, no shavings so i fill it back up. Works for about 5 minutes then stops again. Now, ill get third gear sometimes, but when i get 3rd i dont have 4th. And when i have 4th i dont have 3rd. Its very tempermental.Any ideas? Bent shift fork maybe?

i dont know much about Eclipse trannys, but.... in my escort, i fried the syncro in 3rd, so i couldnt shift into it at all... and if i did get it in, it would just spit it out. so maybe, if the trannys are built the same way, that could be it. cause i think the other gears would be messed if you screwed up your shift fork. not saying i am an expert at all, just my opinion.. good luck with that..
