3inch intake pipe fitting next to wastegate??

I Installed a 3" intake pipe and I realized the nipple on the 14b waste gate was hitting the Coupler. I then bent it a tiny bit so i could hold boost. I'm getting a 16g turbo and I'm wondering if the waste gate is going to be in the same spot and If I'm going to have to do this again or if maybe i should just get a different intake pipe because I plan to get rid of my 1g MAF. Thanks

That I know off and remember correctly, yes they are in the same exact spot.

Can you get us a picture? Is this intake supposed to fit your car, or it's from another application?

Also, since you are looking into 16G's, have you read and researched about the boost creep issue they have? I am not discouraging you, great turbos, but I just want you to know what you are doing and not get caught by surprise.

yeah its for 1g's but its just kinda a tight fit because of my Inter cooler piping kit I plan tos switch o a front mount. I think if i had upgraded my MAF it would fit better too...

But yes, the wastegate actuator sits in the same spot for 14Bs and 16Gs.

If you are planning on switching MAF's then give that a shot.
