Working on printing a radio din gauge pod bezel. I need to make it slight larger so thinking about making it taller and adding a 3rd staggered hole in it. 0 o 0 kind of look. It will be black when I am done I have several colors red is just my test color.

Third and final test piece is printing now this is designed to cover the radio din completely. There is a edge that it will basically rest on preventing it from falling into the console. I will be making different mounting tabs that can be screwed to it to secure it in place that way I can mount it however I like. I will figure out the best way to secure it when it's done. It has a very thick 4 top and bottom layers with 10% infill in the center, the outside perimeter is 6 lines thick. It's still light weight and is not going to break easy.

Another look in the model viewer I can edit the text to whatever gauges I'd plan to run and play around with different color schemes.

Nice! Looking forward too seeing your end result
So I basically have the end result, it fits the space nicely and is actually a press fit. It cannot fall into the opening and it snaps in even though that was not the plan, I will still be designing some tabs to secure it with screws or Velcro. My next step is to pick the color that I want and possibly add text like the above photo.

If this helps any. 1 DIN fits (3)2 1/16” gauges. Right, but it fits.
Double din fits 5, should be able to pull off 6, but I think most do 5 (3 top, 2 bottom or vice versa).

One thing I appreciate and I know others do is some kind of angle to the gauges favoring the driver.

I don't have any reason for 5 gauges that's just way to many it would look way to cluttered. I like the simple 3 look O O O, I have a couple others that I printed that do have an angle towards the driver seat but I didn't like them when I test fitted it.

Ignore the Narrowband LOL, it came with the car. I am not even going to bother hooking it up, it's just there for a place holder until I can get a wideband.
I think I will revise this design before I do the final print in black. But the viewing angle is perfect from the driver seat. My shift knob and cigarette plug is also 3D printed :D

Should make a version that allows for the radio to be installed with 3 gauges sitting under it.

If I had a radio in the car I would've done that. Off the top of my head I don't know measurements to make it flush with a radio. I still plan to make a few different versions so I might make one that can snap together to support radio or no radio.

Here is the final one I have in my car, I do plan to angle it towards the driver though. v2 coming soon.

There's a member on here that used to make this exact setup, I stumbled across one of his old posts a few days ago and reached out via email. He's currently checking to see if he still has the mold so I can buy one from him. It replaces the entire radio/HVAC surround that clips in and also has the gauges angled towards the driver.

Where did you purchase the cluster?
I built it. Also build one that's better for a friend's Evo.
