well, i've been dealing with the usual rich stuttering problem and i finally pulled enough fuel out to get it to pull fairly clean. i'm at -38% to -40% on hi th. with a 255 and 650 injectors with a PTE 50 trim. this seems really lean to me but it's the only way i was able to clean up the stutter. now i'm ggetting fuel cut i think. last night was pretty chilly and 1st and 2nd gear totally stalled around 5k rpm for a second. 3rd pullled well pretty much all the way to 70 mph. i thought 3rd gear put the most load on the engine, so why no fuel cut there?
i also thought that by taking away alot of fuel with the afc, fuel cut would be pushed back. i'm only at maybe 17.5-18 psi, so didn't think i'd hit it yet. oh, also have lower honeycomb removed. i guess that's my real question, why am i hitting fuel cut with -38% on the AFC while only at 17.5 psi?
is there a certain airflow frequency (Hz) that the MAF can't read above and then promotes fuel cut? i maxed at 2155Hz last night.
