Been chasing this problem for a while now and have had nothing but dead ends, has 1 code p0455. I’ve scoured the forums can’t find anything, here’s what I’ve tried. Can’t find any leaks, checked the IACv, and bought a new purge valve (still seems possibly broken, making loud ticking noise). Yell at me and call me names as long as you send me a link to my problems I’m at my wits end….

I would trace every vacuum line from the throttle body all the way back to the fuel tank. Most of the rubber hoses are probably not in good shape anymore.

The loud ticking noise from your purge solenoid is unusual, but you can definitely hear noises from it during operation. I wouldn't think you've used 2 parts that aren't functional so I would at least double check all the vacuum lines before replacing it again. Nearly every example I've found at junkyards were still functional, although I've sold a lot of them so it's either a common issue for them to go bad or people are just throwing parts at their cars without a diagnosis.
