The transmission takes off in 1st (low) when you put it in drive. You are just manually shifting it.

Re read my first post.L and 2 are manual gears. The car will not go to 2nd being in low.The car will not go into 3rd and 4th being in 2.Just like the car will also not go into od, with the od off.ROFL

You will get more control with being in 1 or 2.You could also go with a shift box. And just manually shift, or use the horn buttons to shift.Or turn the box off, and just drive like you don't have a shift box.

LOL Besides, shifting improperly with manually shifting and burning **** up! There is little differences at the track with an auto, unless built. For example, Me! If you have worked on the transmission then you can have *some* fun manually shifting, but really, just leave it in drive and enjoy the traffic on the highway during rush hour. :D

i definitely dont have a problem with the stock shift points, i mean my car isn't losing traction or anything its pretty much stock no real power adders. i was just wondering if it would give me a better take off.
