so are there any other procedures that i might have to do differently than the article besides the side skirts? will the front and rear bumper's procedure be the same?

thanks the car is dropped on progress springs.. 1.7inch front and back. the spoiler is a turbo spoiler from 97-99 turbo eclipses GSX/GS-T.. if u checked my gallery u can see my old red GS-T.. i fell in love with that look that wen i sold it and got the GSX.. i vowed to make it look exactly like the GS-T.. and i did just that..

also for those who hate about too many people doing the 97-99 conversion.. i have the most right to esp after owning a 98 gs-t before

the front and rear should be simple.. its puttint he side skirts on.. where u might have drill new holes.. also if u get the turbo spoiler.. u need to patch the old holes from old low spoiler (if u have it) and make new ones for the turbo spoiler.. i didnt put new holes though. ill leave yall wondering how.

ok i have a stillen front fascia for my car and they recomend piaa 1100x series fog lights. stillen said i can use the stock 97 fog light brackets. here is my question. can i bolt the 97 foglight brackets to my 96 w/out drilling any holes? i had the 96 foglights on it, so all the existing holes are their. will it be a direct match up?

Yes it can be done. You have to change the healights too. Everything bolts right up. I predict there will be a post with the word SEARCH in your future...

I got pointed to this by the Mods, so im going to ask, I have 95 Eagle TSi AWD, and want to go to 97+ Eclipse body. The only thing that im asking is, the Rear bumper and lights and the Moon fin, (thats what i call it, its wraped around the rear window). Are they a problem??? and if so, is it a easy fix or a body shop job??? thanks.

The rear fin thats up there will be hard to remove actually. The rear bumper and lights I've already explained to you.

You buy a eclipse's taillights and rear bumper+reverse lights. They bolt right up actually. Without a problem. That rear wing will actually be something they have to remove and I think cover the holes it leaves.

Goodluck in finding out more tho.

Reverse lights will need to be extended and the Talon bumper support will need to be raised so that the eclipse bupper will rest on it. If you remove your wing, the holes will need to be filled......

Luckily my friend has a 97 and has to pay for a speeding ticket so i bought the headlights for 30 and my other friend bought his front bumper for 100, excelent shape, he just wasn't smart about what he could sell them for

I've got a 97 talon, and have been considering swapping out for the 97-99 eclipse headlights but keeping my front bumper.

I read that the Eclipse 97-99 headlights don't come to the same point in the middle as the Eclipse 95-96 headlights (thus leaving a gap), but I'm not sure whether the talon shares those early 2g-design headlights with the eclipse or whether the gap would even be there.

Any help would be appreciated!

The gap would be there. 95-96 and all 2g Talons have the same headlights.

Its really too bad, I quite like the 97-99 headlights.
I suppose I could always just do a full conversion, but thats fairly costly.

I was wonderin if I can put a 97-99 front end on my 95 eclipse all I want is a front end cause I dont like the 95 front ends so anyone with an answer to this please fill me in on any fabricating or wiring I would have to do to get this done

yes, you can directly bolt up these parts to make it look like a 97-99
front bumper cover
rear bumper cover
fog light bezel
fog lights
eclipse tails
there are also many people here who have done the conversion and you can find them using the search button

the tails are all the same from 95-99, only the headlights are different, and bumper, skirts, and rear bumper

no problem, but were talking about the eclipse tailights not the talon ones right. Because the talon rear conversion to an eclipse rear bumper takes some custom fabbing with the bumper supports and stuff
