As the topic states, I am interested in putting a 2G electronic speed sensor on my 1G transmission. It is for a custom project using my spare engine and transmission but the throttle cable will not reach.

Will it fit? (I'm sure it will, but haven't personally seen a 2g sensor)

What all wiring will be needed?

Anybody have a picture of the plug and maybe a pin diagram as well?

Hey honestly i have the same question cause i have a 97 eclipse gst and when i got it someone had swapped a 1g engine and tranny and now in trying to figure out how to make my speedometer work on it...! Hope you find your answer

Your case may be a bit easier than mine since you have the wiring and ECU set up for it already. So, you may be able to just get a sensor and put it in there.

Anybody have experience with this very odd request of mine?
