2g trans in 1g problems

Long story short I have a 90gsx that had a bad transmission in it. So i purchased one out of a 95 gsx which came with the transfer case. Everything bolted up just fine.

So i start driving it to put miles on the new act 2600 clutch and make sure everything is in working order. One of the problems I've been having is the car seems to have the symptoms of a slipping clutch. When I give it gas it goes but it takes a little bit. It did this once when the l drove it around the first time. Then next time i drove it the car drove normal.
Also when i have the wheel turned all the way to the right annd have it in reverse the car kind of jumps/kicks when it is in motion.

The second time i drove it which was to work today the car drove normal until i was about 15 min in my drive (about half way) i head an almost grinding noise from the front right of the car. After that it did the same thing as before (symptoms of a slipping clutch)

Ideas?

Almost sounds like symptoms of a blown center diff, however, it should* do it all the time if that were the case.

Im going to try to put second gen axles and see if that makes the difference. Hope a cv joint is broken inside the boot or something. :-\

Which axles are you currently using??

Viscous coupler?? Jack up that side and pull the end cap off the trans. That's a no cost diagnosis.
