the stock gauge once the car is turned on reads at full vacuum all the time. regardless of what is going on. my acutal boost gauge is reading correctly (as it should). i know that the stock gauge is "estimated" by the ecu from air flow. Which is why im concerned. if the gauge is showing full vacuum im wondering what might be misreading or otherwise bad becuase im sure it affecting the cars performance if that is the case.

Thats as to what i should look at. Once the car is warmed up it runs fine. When its cold its alittle pissy. Also the car is an automatic.

the car is mostly stock. there is no chop or anything installed. i never look at the gauge to be honest. i just noticed that is stopped working last week sometime. the car doesnt act like the MAF is disconnected though. i can boost it through all RPMs and it seems okay. but low speed driving it acts a little funky but it drives. the idle is fine also. the MAF is plugged in. i cleaned the wire off before winter because there was some oil build up on it.
