My stock 2g eclipse gsx MAF adapter plug does not fit in the evo 8 MAF.

Do I need to wire an adapter?

Or is there an adapter that someone already makes?

I was curious about this, what benefits are there to running an evo maf? aside from the ability to measure more volumetric air?

Yes but i would go speed density nothing like getting rid of the restricted intake and all the useless plumbing

Just purchasing the MAF adapter isn't going to allow you to just plug up the new Evo MAF and go, it requires tuning to use it.

Do you have ECMLink or some sort of tuning option to correct for the different airflow signal the ECU will be getting from the Evo MAF?

Yes, I already have ECMLink. I just got my ECU back from them with V3 full.
:)

Now I just have to figure out how to attach the bumper with this front mount intercooler...

I can either us ea short route kit and cut the frame, or I can cut the fiberglass crash beam and bolt in in front of the intercooler...

Or not use the crash beam at all and make custom mounts for the bumper...

Suggestions?

I have two FMIC kits...

A short route VRSF kit... i will have to cut the frame for this one...

And a godspeed normal route kit. No cutting needed.

But both require the crash beam to be either cut or removed...

I am leaning towards the godspeed since its so easy to install...

I agree. So what I am going to do is use the godspeed to get the car running since i have no cutting tools.

Then there is a guy in town who can do a great job at cutting the frame for the VSRF and i will swap out intercoolers then.

I still need a way to attach the bumper.... Does anyone know of a tutorial or a few images on how to make the right mounting brackets?

Do you see those 5 bolts that attach the top front of the bumper....

What are they bolted to? I dont have anything there... no cross member or beam or nothing...
