running evo 8 injectors on 2g

Get something to compensate for the larger injectors. If that's all you want to run, look for an apexi safc. Most people are going to recommend eculink v3, but that's not a reality for most dsmers. A flashable evo 8 or 98 99 ecu is always an option as well.

As said above, you should have an afpr for that big pump as well.

Like everyone said, just need something to tune with.

Cheapest is SAFC and has the least capabilities, next is getting a flashable ECU from a 98-99 with ECUflash/Ceddymods/evoscan.

And DSMlink is the best option. Highly recommended if you ever want to continue making more power with your car. You'll porbably pay $500-600 for it in the classifieds for a full plug and play kit. Well worth it!

And probably running pig rich.

To run larger injectors you NEED something to tune with. An afpr is needed if you're upgrading the fuel pump because it will overrun the stock fpr at idle.

You could throw on an Evo8 MAF on it and the stock tune might not be too far off. I have read some 1G guys have done similar with 2G/Evo3 parts. A SAFC or some other way of fine tuning would still be ideal.

I'm running them with an eprom ecu keydiver chipped for 660's, I use the safc to compensate for the difference in injector size between the ecu and actual injectors. 10.9 to 11.3 across the board on a full throttle pull at 18psi. Pretty conservative tune.
