Hey guys. I just bought a set of springs for the ride to lower it about 1.5 inches. I was wondering hot tough the install was on a job like this. It's jsut the springs so I know it won't be a ton of work but could anyone help me out? Thanks guys.

bah really? I searched and honestly didn't see any but I was only looking in the DIY section so I apologize but thanks for the help.

Also know that "lowering springs" will have your stock shocks blown in no time.

Your profile and post are contradicting though. It says you have "Tein Sportsline Suspension" which isn't actually a product that I can find reference to anywhere. Also, as to my knowledge, Tein does not even make shocks/struts that aren't complete coilovers - meaning springs are included. So I'm not too sure what you're even trying to put these lowering springs onto. Please clarify if possible.

Also, just to let you know, the mods will close threads that are bumped, especially if you only wait 18 minutes to bump your thread.

Got to VFAQ there is a good write up there. It was the one I used. I am not that mechanically inclined and it took me a few hours to do, but then again I was doing shocks/springs to a car from Chicago(BAD rust) I went through 1.5 cans of PB Blaster.

Here's a good writeup on how to do your springs, http://www.plymouthlaser.com/2gsusp.htm I just took apart my front suspension to do a CV boot, it wasn't that tough, the sway bar link was the hardest part for me.. I had the good kind you can grab with a wrench, that wasn't what was hard, it was hard to get the damn thing off once unbolted! I took off the strut holder first though.. stupid.. I think that may have been what made it so damn hard.
