i have 1g eclipse GS and i'm thinking is it possible to put 2G 2.0l engine with 1g ported engines head in 1g eclipse. i have heard that 2g model engines with 1g engines head makes higher compression in cylinders? is it right?

By 2g engine are you refering to the 7bolt 4g63t?
The n/t 420 def does not bolt up into a 1g...
If you are going turbo with the 4g63 then lower compression is what you should aim for to run more boost. I am unsure if that combo makes higher compression, but you need to explain more details first on the specific engine you are planning on swapping.

There is no such thing as a 1G or 2G engines. All turbo engines are 4G63 and depending on years, they are either 6 bolt or 7 bolt.

Which year is your 2G engine? and Which year is your 1G engine?

If you have a 1.8L SOHC engine on your NT, that is a 4G37 engine and has nothing in common with the 2.0L DOHC 4G63 engines.
