Hey i got a hundred cel's on my entire 1g swap, so i put my 2g intake manifold back on, and they all went away. But someone told me the 7bolt intake manifold wont seal correctly with a 6bolt head... but it bolted straight on. am i still okay?

The intake ports on that 2G manifold are smaller than the size of the intake ports on that 1G head. If you're going to keep that manifold, you should probably look into getting it port matched at the very least.

What CEL codes were you getting, btw?

the map sensor code, and some evap/emissions ones

now im just getting one for the maf but i got a new maff, and the plug going into it is reading good on the voltmeter

You really dont want a 2g intake manifold on a 1g head. The ports on the 1g head measure 60mm and the ports on the 2g intake manifold measure 52mm. This means that as the air leaves the smaller runners, the sharp edge created from the mismatched port size will cause the air to make a sharp turn as it enters. The 90 degree angle created by the larger head port, will cause edys, and this will definately hurt performance. You are best off staying with an intake that matches the head.

Best of luck

you just Tee off a vacume line and hook it upto the MDP sensor. There are a few places that make adapters to do this cleanly, but alot of people just shove a vacume line into the MDP and zip-tie it.
