I just bought a 97 gst eclipse with a good motor and trans but the body of the car is rusted beyond repair. Was planning to swap motor and trans into a different body wondering if the wiring harness would be different between a 95-96 and 97-99 eclipse at all or if I could buy a 95-96 body and swap motor and trans without trouble?

Cam angle sensors are different, you'd have to use an adapter harness to use a 97+ CAS on a 95-96 car.

So could I get a cas off a 95-96 car and have it work with my motor?
