why not just get their street front mount for 50 bucks more.. i mean its going to cool better than a side mount. Thats prolly why no one has one.

Intercooler piping cost more . I hae no clue how to fab my own piping.

um its a kit and comes with the pipes to connect to your current ones. No fabrication required. I am talking about the street kit not the race core.

well thats what im getting .. i dont care about how it looks as long as it does its job. Plus, thats a talon front dunno how it would look on an eclipse front.

I have the 2g big sidemount. I put down 320 at the wheels with it on an evo16g. I don't know what your plans are but if you're not looking to be racing every day or running a turbo larger than a big 16g it is a good choice. Not as bling as a fmic, but then again no one expects you to pull up to the line and rip off a 110+mph trap.

i would like to hear more about this side mount as well since i all ready have dajon hard piping going to my side mount i dont want to buy any more pipe at lest not for dajon's price

Sleeper status.

I went with the Dejon side mount intercooler for the sleeper look.
Also my Talon was set up for best low end/ mid range torque and the lower volume of the side mount helps with spool up time.

My only complaint is that the back of the intercooler touches the wheel well liner on the outboard side interfering with the air flow. I cut some more slots there but a proper mod would increase the spacing behind the IC.

If you're HP goal is 400 BHP or less the SMIC is a good choice.


$%#%^@^ just noticed that this is a four year old thread. The OP has probably already made up his mind. Or maybe he is just a poor tooner and is still saving his money for the IC.
