I plan on going with a GM MAF... now my question is... if I plan to Vent, I where do I place the MAF... before the turbo? From the Dejon Site I gather that I can use any of the following Intake pipes: CIP-1gM, N or Q.

I plan on staying with my Stock IC for now but will upgrade to a FMIC in about a year... will I have to get one Intake pipe now and then dump that to get another once I go with the FMIC?

As far as the IC pipe... do I get the 2 1/2" BLOW THRU Upper Inter-Cooler Pipe? And just pick the Flange that goes with whatever BOV I choose? Will this setup allow me to prepare to Vent (I will be getting a MAFT and a DSMLink).

By the way... I emailed DSMLink to see when they will support the GM MAF (without the need for the MAFT to do the signal translations)... I read somewhere that the Link was going to have this capability.

I would save the money and try to get the front mount right a way, or you will be buying all your piping twice. try http://www.kineticmotorsport.com/ they make a nice front mount for the 1g with short pipe and it is large. if you want to go with a side mount stick with the dejon setup and get there large side mount. I am going through the same thing and am leaning toward the side mount to go a little more stealth.

You can just give Dejon Tool a call, they'll help you with everything you need. It would be cheaper in the long run, if you can afford it to get a FMIC now, instead of replacing the piping and then down the road getting a FMIC and having to replace the pipes you already paid alot for.
