Thank you very much for the Updates, communication can do a lot to keep interest open. I hope Sergio is recovering well, as Im sure everyone else is hoping the same. In for the group buy whenever things do get started. I would love to have a quality piece like this on my car!

I am so pissed I already have 2 CF hatches! I need to sell them both for one of these.

I am in depending on better resolution pics of fitment. Also has to be UV yellowing resistant like my hood. And Hopefully a strong inner skeleton. Need inner skeleton pics, because the inner skeleton is very important in how well it closes. I have a shit one, my second is brand new hanging in the garage and has a much better design. SO I would like to see the underside of these as well!

Sergio finally replied to my email letting me know he's doing better after his accident. He said it will be 2 months before he can walk again and 6 months before he's fully recovered. He didn't mention what that means about the projects he's working on, but I suspect we'll all have to be a little patient. He did mention that he's planning to jump back in here soon to post some replies.

I dont mind waiting around, since I have a lot to do before getting into the cosmetic stage. The only reason I wanted to get into the cf trunk buy since group buy prices are usually a little lower than regular prices... I dont mind waiting around until he recovers since that gives me time to buy the parts I really need right now to keep my project moving along..

Starting to grow on me as well, but I think I love the stock look too much. Front mount and exhaust are the only things that give me away. Maybe one day when I have 3 DSMs I will look into other things like this. But this looks amazing glad to see the gb is coming together. Prayers and best wishes to OP throughout recovery.

sort of off topic in this thread, but some great work, what's the possibility of having a carbon fiber windshield wiper cowl made ?

I'm down for the gb for the csl hatch, tail light center cover and maybe the carbon fiber windshield wiper cowl if you are making those, need to know total price including shipping for all to Wisconsin, 53534. Just let me know once things start rolling again, Hope you get better soon man!!

Maybe someone at Carbonetics can take over this project and let Sergio focus on recovery? This is a very very cool product that im willing to do as much as I can to help.
