needs an auto swap
HELL NAWWWWW
best thing i ever done to my car was take out the 5spd junk and put the auto in. especially after busting the shep i had from a 2nd gear rollNever! Team gear bangers over here!needs an auto swap
Never! Team gear bangers over here!
from the research I done before I put the auto in theres not any kind of cheap option for us for a reliable 5spd. for a broke racer like me the auto was the best option.5 speed life.
What would be interesting is see if there was another FWD /AWD transmission we could and allows for more power.
hell the Supra 240 guys get the Nissan 350-370 trans to use and sh** holds over 900hp. Be nice to have the same options available.
we gonna find out next year what you got at shootoutNever! Team gear bangers over here!

no offense takenGoonie and I were just talking about this yesterday. I dont care how many manual transmissions I break, I will never go auto. No offense but to me its boring, the fun of racing is banging gears!!
it was more to give goonie shit than anything. I thought mine was gonna be boring too when I swapped but its been a good time for me so far. im using a 3g tiptronic shifter so I do have to shift the car.hey it still worked out for youMaybe if I turn my boost up instead of down I would have better times to show this season haha sh** happens I’m ready and waiting for spring feels good to say that for a change.
. im ready to turn mine up too and see what a 9 second pass looks like
cant wait to see this car again soon.
.what cage you going with or are you guys bending one up?This season is going to be so good Mike I can’t wait to start on my cage with you here in the next few weeks street race cars!!
I’m going with the S&W Racecars pre bent 8 point and I’m having them bend me up a set of rear pro street bars as oppose to the strut tower rear mount bars it normally comes with.what cage you going with or are you guys bending one up?
hmmmmm.. im curious as to how they fit with interior. im just scared of the pre bent stuff after my last dealingI’m going with the S&W Racecars pre bent 8 point and I’m having them bend me up a set of rear pro street bars as oppose to the strut tower rear mount bars it normally comes with.

. Glad to see there are still some Dsm'ers around close by. Awesome work with the build so far. It seems to be coming along great.I have to ask, is your friend still making intake manifolds? I wouldn't mind giving him some business if he is. I am still running the stock 2g one and I feel like its holding me back
