ok been looking at the logger and we see that at WOT the timing will drop in the single digits at the point where the automatic tranny shifts, the timing will begin to raise again, but then its time to shift again and timing drops.

Im running 19psi using a SAFCII to tune.
550s
3" turbo back with high flow cat
190 pump
FMIC w/ hard piping
1G crushed BOV
emissions removed
14b ported
manifold ported
o2 housing ported

Any thoughts on why this happens or how to cure it?

I have it tuned pretty well. I just thought that was weird. I wanted to make sure that was normal.

So if the timing drops in the single digits when it shifts, Is that hurting anything? I would think that cant be good for the motor.

Seeing that it is normal, that makes tuning on the auto a bit harder cause it dips so low and then you still are trying to make sure its not knocking and staying at 15 Degrees.

As far as doing gear pulls, thats what we did, we logged each gear and adjusted it. We just werent sure on the hole timing thing when the tranny shifts.
