2G 2g Auto/Manual exhaust question

I know there is a difference between a 2g FWD and AWD exhaust, they are not interchangeable. But is there any difference between a 2g AWD auto and 2g AWD manual exhaust? I have a custom 3" turbo back on my manual 1998 gsx and need to know if the exhaust will bolt up to my auto 1997 tsi awd, I am running a dsm O2 housing on both cars.
