2g auto issues

I just picked up my 95 talon tsi awd auto from the local performance shop. I had a greddy types s boost controller, tt, apexi gt dp and n1 cat back exhaust installed . I took the car for a spin after and now the tranny wont shift past 2nd gear. Has anyone had this problem or have any idea what it could be? the shop said it could be a rev limiter? is this possible or did they screw something up during the install, because it was running fine before it went in.

I take it back to where you got it from if it ran fine with the mods before you took it there they need to look at it again.

their response to the problem was that dsm are prone to problems and they dont diagnos dsm issues.

That is a dumb shop, I would never trust a shop like that. That is shady business man.

Sounds like your stuck with the car.

First, maintenance is always good to do after buying a car anyway, so this won't be like wasted money.

Take the Pan off the tranny and see if you see any grit/metal flakes, or anything that shouldn't be there. If all is well, flush the fliud, change the filter, and fill er up (Amsoil w/lube guard black or OEM is all I reccoment after some extensive reading)

Report back with you findings. Also, is it idling fine, or doing anything else that doesn't "SEEM" strange?

To me that makes no sense they don't diagnose dsm trannys but yet they work on them adn they say they are prone for problems how do they know if they never work on themWTF
