Hey DSM Tuners!
After 457 miles on my rebuilt 6-Bolt, My trans has started to slip.
Turns out I was a bit low on fluid.
Now answer me this,
Do I spend the money to do a trans fluid/filter change or do I just try and track down a new transmission? The Slip occurs through just about every gear.
Also, My car bogs down HORRIBLY when trying to accelerate. Like most cars with an Auto Trans will accelerate pretty quickly. This just bogs down and I need to punch it for it to move anywhere.
My friend who did the majority of my rebuild thinks that the Torque Converter is partially "locked up".
