Yes the 2g rod bolts will be sloppy in the rod bolt holes of the 1g

1mm = appox .040 (.03937)

If they would swap like that, why would ARP have 2 part numbers??

I didn't notice the difference until now that I just got them in the mail that the label said "94up" and it said nothing about it being two different types until now that the part number I need is 107-6001 and I have the 107-6002 .

Not to thread jack, but it got me thinking what about aftermarket rods? I know Eagle H-beams are for 90-99. Are these only to be used with with the included hardware? If no, what would be the ARP equivalent?

No there are 2 different part numbers for the eagle H beams.

Eagle Specialty Products, Inc.
For the 89-92
H beam part number CRS5900MA3D

For the 93 up
H beam part number is CRS5900MB3D

The two main differences in the 2 rods is
1) wrist pin bore diameter
2) The big end width of the rod, the 6 bolts are thicker
