Resolved 2g 95 awd transmission output shaft play

My output shaft has about the same amount of play as this video, is this normal or cause for a rebuild?

Also my TOB failed...I do not know if they are connected and if I should have the trans rebuilt before I continue.

Normal. A steel ball in the groove in the shaft keeps it in place. It has a lot of play by design.

Thank You! I searched but all I could find was 1g information and I believe its different for them.
