No, 2G started in 1994. what makes you think that you have 2g calipers? look at the picture in my first post in this thread, are they the same size????

I own an evo and a talon, i'm pretty sure the firewall mounting is different. Do you want me to compare the m/c brackets???

well i guess if he makes something that hold the m/c in place it shouldnt be a big deal. i just remember seeing it and i told him. i guess we loose a lot of feel b/c the m/c move when you press the pedal. if you have someone push the pedal and you look at the m/c you can see it move. :thumbdown

I have those exact same calipers, so I got 2g. Right? Doesnt matter, I dont care, they are better than what I had none the less.

No need to compare brackets, It would only take me an hour at work to make a temporary bracket to see if it helps with the littl mushyness, thanx though

you can also grind down the sides of the calipers for smaller wheel spacers/larger offset

BTW, those brackets in the pic are identical (almost) to the ones I designed for my setup......hrrmmmm..... whos been in my head?

I have 17" konig holes with a 45 (Ithink) mm offest. I wanted to keep the Mitsu letters on them because I think that makes the mod! I dunno, call me anal but it just wouldnt be the same without it.

Besides, I like the new aggressive look I got with the 25mm spacers

Incase you didnt realize, our motors are mitsu and so is the driveline. , I think the mitsu logo rocks and is the main reason I used these calipers. To each their own I guess.

exactly. i could have saved for a big brake kit but then i wouldn't have the mitsu on the side i put photos up a few posts back too

Thanks for clearing up the skepticism, by the way. I have warped rotors and I gotta do wheel bearings.

So the brackets they had on the site are almost identical to yours? ... And if I did want to grind off the "Mitsubishi" logo (paint them red and buy the brake decals some guy is selling I saw on another thread) will that eliminate the need for wheel spacers? 25mm spacers seem like alot, and I don't feel like rolling my fenders.

You own a 1g, there wont be any clearence issues with 25mm unless your slammed, 2g however......???

I just got a set of wilwood calipers from http://www.pitstopusa.com for $200. they should fit like the 2g's with a simple backet and a a 2g rotor. btw, the link to the caliper pdf is broken, could someone else send it to me or post the picture. I need the dimensions of the bracket
