2g 12v dash lighting question

Hey, I searched the forums and only found the answer for a 1g. So my question is, anyone know where the wire for the 12v dash lighting is in the 2g n/t? Im installing my Autometer tach, and thats the last wire that I need to tap into. I have that Haynes Repair Manual, but I may be over looking it because I dont see it in there, or maybe its because my puppy tore out the index and I cant look it up! haha Thanks

Couldn't you hook it up off your dimmer switch? Wouldnt that be what controls your power to your dash/gauge lights? Just thought I'd throw it out there as a suggestion.

haha well its true. Thats why his name is "Devil" =) Yes, I was thinking that would probably be where it should go, but I just dont want to short anything out, but thanks for the reply and advice!! I will go try that asap!
