Ok, so i've read several threads about this problem and they have me on the right track.

My problem is that my dash lights aren't working and my tail lamp fuse keeps blowing out. I have headlights and door lights but no gauges.

My turbo timer was mounted on top of my steering column and I never liked it there so I remounted it under my stereo. I simply just moved it, I didn't cut or remove any wires.

I'm thinking maybe a previous bad connection and by moving it made it worse? Maybe a wire is pinched under my steering wheel? :idontknow:

Again everything worked fine for about 2 years, I remounted it drove about a mile down the road then bam no lights. I replaced the fuse, let it idle for a min and as soon as I put it in first bam no lights.

iv had that on happen to 2 out of my 3 eclipses and thos 2 didnt have turbo timers. the gauge lights not working and tail lamp are probly connected somehow.

i actually think it was my reverse lights and gauges that was somehow connected in my 95 gs, it was a wire that melted on the trans or somthing

Yea i've read a lot about this and what bugs me is that I did no wiring, just simply moved the TT like 6 inches from the spot its been for the past 2 years. I tore my dash apart again last night and checked every wire and nothing is melted or grounded out. Can I just bypass the knob and wire it straight? I mean who cares if it's always on the brightest setting, I always just leave it there anyway. I'll check the wires by the trans, around the battery and off the fuse box today.

Issue resolved, kept popping the 15 amp fuse so i replaced it with a 30 amp fuse :thumb:...

Just kidding :D I checked thouroughly under my dash and fixed any connection that looked poor, taped off all wires not in use, checked all other fuses and misc. connections, etc etc.

Had some random wired pinched and grounded out.

Sorry for the new thread, newb here :ohdamn:.

Thanks for the help!
