Hi, My dash is acting up, it started just after my car was broken into and the stereo was literally torn from the wires(coulda just unplugged the terminal), anyway, now only the gauges and center console lights up, the HVAC, and switches don't, does anyone know the solution?. Also the dash lights will periodically go out, but i can get them back on again by turning the dimmer dial back and fourth, What should i do, is the dealer the only place to get those plastic base bulbs?

Hey man, sorry to hear your ride was busted into. First thing I'd do is clean up all the wiring, making sure no bare wires were exposed. Wrap them in electrical tape so they can't arc.

I'd call the dealer and get a wiring diagram for all the stuff in your dash, with a wire color key if possible. You might also get one from a stereo shop but I don't know how thorough it'll be. Make sure you have some extra fuses on hand before you start putting wires back together.

Good luck.

Well i got the switches working, but the climate control knob lighting still won't work.

Well i found some bulbs and put them in, it worked for one evening then burnt out, so i found some LED's and they burnt out in short time also, this is an electrical problem but how can it only effect the knobs on the climate control lighting?

I checked the stereo wiring and it looks fine.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks
