26mm Whiteline rear swaybar on eBay

Found a few if any of you are looking for one. They're not as easy to find these days as they used to be (marketed as a GVR4 rear swaybar).

I've had one in my garage for a couple years and will be putting it on before I get the car running again.

I put one on my street car. It is a tight fit. Attach the sway bar to the subframe, but leave it loose, because it is very difficult to attached the rear links when the bar is bolted down. Once the rear links are attached you can tighting everything. It really did make a difference. I have less understeer now.

No, they stopped offering the 24mm adjustable front bar.

No they discontinued them just before I got my rear bar. The closest they have is the 22mm front non-adjustable which you can still find (a few of those on ebay). Just search for BMF60 I believe. I have one of those to put on too. I'm keeping an eye out for used 24mm front bars, the BMF60X, but at the same time I was also thinking a little less understeer up front would be okay too, making the 22mm sufficient.

All I need now are the bar end links for front and rear.

The part number is BMF60 for 22mm, BMF60XXZ for 24mm adjustable. Finding the ones they offer isn't too tough... Just gotta know a Whiteline dealer

Thanks for posting this! I've been looking into getting a new rear sway bar for a while, so I decided to pick one of these up. Should come in today or tomorrow... I just hope my stock links will be ok for now!

Just wanted to update... I got my whiteline rearsway bar, and many curse words later I had it installed. It is an extremely tight fit. This thing makes a world of a difference!! I would recommend it to anyone.

Hold on, I am a bit of a noob when it comes to suspensions, but i hate the understeer in my GSX, so will this work for a 2G? Are these ones better than the Tanabe upgrades? Thanks

Note that a very good way to get any front-heavy car to both turn and be nice on the ride home is to go big on the rear bar, coupled with relatively soft rear springs. The only downside to this approach is that the car will now pitch (i.e., nose up and then nose down) over bumps or swales on the highway, which can make some people sea-sick.

Yes you can install this without dropping the subframe. It's tricky and you need to get creative with jacking up the suspension arms while snaking it around the driveshaft/etc. but it can be done.

Just an update but JNZ sells the 26mm adjustable whiteline as well so you wouldn't have to try to hunt one down.

May be a stupid question based on the above posts but I would feel more comfortable getting a definitive YES before I place an order.

I have both of those bars you mentioned, sitting in my garage waiting to go on the car.

Outa curiosity... on my FWD drive I run a very (very) stiff 28mm hollow bar in the back and the stock 19mm bar in the front. I have a 24mm for the front but I found that the 19/28 was perfect to balance the car's handling... It wants to step out (oversteer) but doesn't.

On the 1G AWD car I'm sold that the rear bar needs upgrading but is the stock front a good combo or does it need the bigger front as well? The car will be on Tein SS coilovers.
