i was reading a post yesterday where someone said that their 20g turbo came as a direct bolt on for their 2g dsm. Is this possible? if so where could i find one?

Yes the 2G is a direct bolt as it uses the mitsu style flange. Look though the vendors pages and see who has them.

If you get a 20G with an elbow, all you need to do is bend the coolant lines and widen the drain tube holes out.

While you are at it you may as well pick up a 255 fuel pump front mount intercooler, 650 injectors and an fuel computer. Cause you arent going far without those :toobad:

The only 20g that is a direct bolt on for a 2G is the SBR 2g20g as it uses a garret compressor cover just like the stock t-25.

so if i got that one i would not have to buy anything else at all? i could just take my t-25 off and put that one on?

and does anyone have a link? all i can find on sbr is the bastard 20g and standard 20g...
unless it is one of those.

p.s. ive got the 255, and 3" turboback. as soon as i find the turbo i want im getting it at the same time as my afpr, afc, fmic, and injectors....compliments of mastercard.

If it flows 20g specs then you still need the supporting mods, I gather they dont explain that on the site where the turbo is listed, im gonna go check it out. I had a texas rebuild turbo like that, cramming a huge compressor wheel in a small compressor, made more heat then it was worth, I ditched it after 3 months, my small 16G was alot faster. :toobad:

Ok i just looked, Im guessing you guys are talking about the bastard 20G? its got a 20G wheel in it so im guessing it flows 20G specs, in which you would need the supporting mods for, and I dont know where they get the "bolt right on" looks like a 16G compressor cover to me, if you have a T25 you still need a J pipe.

And if you spend $900 on that someone should ban you. You can get something 3 times the size of that turbo for that price and since you have to get the supporting mods anyway just get bigger injectors. :rocks:
