Nice... way to represent the non-turbo dsms. Motivates me to build mine. So are you aiming for 250hp?
WTF really pushing it aren't you, LOL?

I'm hoping my next power leap will be to 220whpish. I feel that my current set-up is good for at least that except I'm believing I'm out of cam. With no larger cams available to us, I really want to get a special grind done up. I've got the numbers but I just need to get someone to do it (for a relatively reasonable price). Crower is not really responding right now I believe that they have a core problem anyway (if anybody has any pull to make things happen, let me know).

As for 250whp, I'm thinking with 2.0 parameters, even for me, that's a little far fetched (unless I go 16 to 1...........)

16:1, LOL.

Yea Mark decided he wanted to aim for 250whp. That's why he started a turbo project. :)
220whp would be amazing though Mark, I know you have your handes full with your turbo project though for the meantime. :rocks:

Theres a company that does custom cam grinds for the Starquest guys, but I just cant think of the name. My buddy is having a custom cam being made for his e85 multiport injected conquest real soon by them and they dont cost an arm and leg.

I will find the name of the company and you can always call them up and see what they say.

Get that turbo project in the 10's forget that NT project ROFL I need that thing really moving so we can run heads up at the shootout this year.

Don't worry Slip, I'm well past 15's with both vehicles :D:p

Oh yeah, JayRolla, I'm definitely listening. Do you know if they are regrinds? No matter, I'll figure it out if you get me a little info. Thanks

I'm glad I saw this. Those headers look NUTS. I'm a turbo guy but damn I KNOW this is impressive! Congrats.

What's wrong with having a high goal? Plus I never said wheel hp.

Hey guys, its all good. Just kinda goofing around about the 250whp (I almost mentioned that you didn't put whp, LOL).

No problem at all with lofty goals. I usually aim high and see where I land ;)

And seriously, 250whp maybe if I go 16 to 1............

I actually looked into some 17 to 1 pistons from a honda based guy. They wear a mini skirt, LOL. Not that expensive either. I believe it was around 7 bills for a set.

Do you realize that you are talking to the most powerful and fastest 2g n/t..? Show some respect you duche. :notgood:

Wow +1 for co-signing.... shut up.

I just asked a simple question and wasn't trying to be disrespectful. Anyone who stays devoted to NA DSMs has my respect.

Can I sign on that too. Bullet is my hero. His NA monster is unique and just sounds godly and is the fastest NA 420A Eclipse there is. :rocks:

I'm also curious to see how the throttle cable bolts on....
Crap, I was playing a little with the car and i realized I forgot that I wanted to take this pic;

The cable bolts up in the obvious place. Just have it unbolted to work on something.

Awesome thanks for the pic I'm fabbing a manifold just like this was trying to get some ideas. I see you have the throttle body mounted sideways?

Actually, normal mounting position EXCEPT that there is basically no "C" shape in the runners (they are cut off at the bottom of the "C"). So its as if the plenum just worked its way down the runners.

Ah ok gotcha yea i know he cut the intake right before the "c" starts upwards its just been so long since I have seen mine mounted up the direction looked kinda funny. Any problems with your intake tube being that much lower?

Gotta watch the distance to the firewall. The closest problem was the heater hose. But she cleared.

Two physical bonuses to the set-up. One is you can switch out the fuel rail a whole lot easier (no removal of intake :thumb:) and you actually have better access to the sensors and vac tree (through the bottom of the car) than say an OBX or Venom.

Yea the clearance wont be too big of a problem since I have no heater hoses. Did you notice any gains on the butt dyno?

Heh heh, I noticed gains on the dyno ;). See first post of this thread.

MB

Yea I saw the dyno graphs on the first page do you have any graphs before the header and the intake? I'm sorry in advance if its posted on the 2gnt forum but i suck at navigating that forum...

Man this thread inspires me more and more. I wish I wasn't planning on keeping this car street able but I guess I'll just have to try to give you a run for your money with a street able car.
