2003 Forester “Curb Jumper”

211k currently. Head gaskets done. 2” lift from ADF. 15x7 KMC wheels. Toyo Tires. New KYB struts and mounts. New lower control arms, swaybar links, Akibono brakes, all maintenance, radiator. About everything 😂

Late Shootout trip post. Did pretty good for having 220k almost. Wheel bearing or tire noise but not a real issue besides a bad new radiator cap and some noise all the way.

Your title brought me in. Because my brother had an EJ25 swapped '99 Impreza wagon in high school. We used to bounce on and off the curbs before and after school hours. Nobody else had one and the suspension was fantastic on that thing. There were rich kids doing the same thing in their 2004-2008 Chevy Silverados and Ford F150's. We were doing it in a little tuner and got a lot of attention. I miss those days so much. Subaru had quite a solid setup in the 90's and early 2000's. We were tearing up streets, curbs and trails in his little ride. Anything the rich kids could do, we were either keeping up or showing out in that machine. Too bad he totalled it jumping a steep trail airborne and bending the radiator support. Until then we felt legendary.

I'll follow along for the build. I've been looking into getting another Subaru. I really miss the 2005 Impreza RS that I sold in 2019 or 2020. There's something about an early AWD Subaru that you can't get with any other platform.

We took this picture on a flip phone, so sorry for the lack of quality. A fair little $1000 Peach paint job got it looking alright again.
