2" gauge for 2"1/16 pod?

I bought a ultra-lite carbon fober boost gauge off ebay and it said it was a 2"1/16 gauge and when I got it it was only the 2" one and I emailed him and he said they are the same thing (and this guy had a high rating and only sold gauges) I want to know if it will fit in a 2 1/16 pod. I want to get a gual gauge pod with egt.

Yes, they are a bit smaller on the end, but the more you push the gauge in, the tighter it gets.
