2.4 in a 1g?

Would it be pretty easy to put a 4g64 into a car that originally has a 4g63 n/t...???? I am asking basically if it would use the same electronics or if it is possible to do without crazy amounts of work? Like could I just buy the bottom end rebuilt and put my 4g63 heads on it??

My understanding is that basically the blocks are the same, but the oil galleys on the 4g63 are different, therefore not enabling you to just bolt on the 4g's head to the 4g64's block. Other than that, I don't know. I just figured it was too much junk to try and figure out>>>easier to turbocharge.

that's the point, i was thinking drop in a 2.4... than turbo charge that... that extra little bit to get ahead...
