So I finally had my DSM running again ( we all know how that is.) Then after awhile I was putting it into 1st and everything would be fine. Later it started grinding a little when I put it into gear. This morning I go to my car start and put it in 1st and it pops out so i tried 2/3 more times and it still popped. So I figured I'd take the bus, I get home try it again and it won't happen it won't just go into 2nd either. So I turn it off and see if I can move at all from there and I can go into 1st not 2nd what,s going on!?:banghead:

Sounds like either clutch, pressure plate, TOB, bad 1-2 shift fork , clutch pedal bushings worn out, low on fluid in the resivoir, leak in the hydraulic system, throw out bearing fork. linkage out of adjustment. it could be any of those things. start with the easy stuff check to make sure the system has no leaks then make sure that the slave cyl is moving in and out. then move on to the rest

Ok well process of elimination. Newer clutch, pressure plate and TOB. My mechanic also said the gears were fine but thanks a lot!

Can anyone lead to write-ups, videos, etc.?
