1gb throttle body to 1ga swap question.

Recently acquired a '92 eclipse a/t gsx . Discovered that the engine could've been swapped out for a '90. Either that or just the TB only. It's weird cause I've found an article on VFAQ concerning swapping a '90 TB to a 91-94. It says that you can do the swap & you only need the 91-94 TB & the clip/pigtail for the TPS that connects to it. Now here's my dilemma, what about the ISC? It's never been mentioned or maybe I'm just missing something here.

Note: So far I've not encountered any problem with the car or any red flags at all, not even vacuum or boost leak. It's just that I'm dumbfounded by the fact that even though it's a '92 eclipse, it has a '90 TB.

The ISC on the 1990 will have the harness built into it and the plug will run to the back of the TB. With that said, the ISC isn't any different. I'm currently running a 1990 throttle body with the 1990 TPS and 90 ISC in my 95 GST. The ISC plugged right in with no problems. Even ECMlink see's the input from it.
